Phosphate
Reduced wear, increased lubrication
Used by industries seeking wear reduction, improved torque-tension correlation and increased lubrication, phosphate coating is a porous crystalline conversion coating that forms when the surface metal chemically reacts with the coating solution. Phosphate can also be used as a base coat for painting, dry film lubricants, waxes, and lacquers. It can also be applied to threaded parts and top coating with oil to add anti-galling and rust inhibiting characteristics.
